Educator Workshops

We are gearing up for another great semester of Educator programs.  Take a look at our workshops below!

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ANIMALS, and Math)
Saturday, April 7
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Ideal for 3rd-12th Grade Educators

Looking to add purpose behind STEM activities and TEKS?  Join us to learn about a few of the Houston Zoo’s animals, their wild counterparts and what the Zoo is doing to help save these animals in the wild.  Discover projects around the world that apply STEM concepts to study rare animals and investigate how you and your students can utilize those same tools to learn about animals that live at the Zoo.

This program is currently sold out!

Adopt an Animal for your classroom!

Adopt_Animal_Packages-Protector

Your students will learn to appreciate wildlife on a deeper level through a symbolic adoption of one of the Zoo’s animal residents. With three different adopt levels and 20 different animals from which to choose, you are sure to find the adoption that is right for your classroom.
